The Florida School Counselor Association (FSCA) Professional Recognition Committee invites school counseling professionals from around the state to make nominations for School Counselor of the Year (SCOY) and our Advocate Awards.
County chapters of FSCA or school districts may choose to select individuals for the SCOY nomination or encourage school counselors to nominate themselves for this honor. Nominees must be working as full-time school counselors and have completed three years of service by October 1, 2023.
