A comprehensive school counseling program is grounded in the effective use of academic data to support the success of each and every student. This webinar will guide school counselors in identifying, accessing, and interpreting relevant data to inform program decisions. Participants will learn practical strategies for accessing Florida Department of Education data that will help drive planning and implementation efforts that align with student needs and school priorities.


About the Presenter - Dr. Laura Cohen

    Dr. Laura Cohen is the Director of the Master’s Program in School Counseling at Nova Southeastern University. She brings extensive PK–12 experience, having previously served as a teacher, school counselor, school-based administrator, and district-level administrator in Broward County Public Schools. Dr. Cohen is a passionate advocate for the school counseling profession and is dedicated to helping counselors use data-driven strategies to design, implement, and evaluate programs that effectively meet the needs of their students and schools.
