Each year, the Florda School Counselor of the Year joins the top school counselors from each state at the annual Counselor of the Year Gala in Washington D.C. Prior to 2015, FSCA announced the Florida School Counselor of the Year at an evening banquet during the Annual State Convention. Beginning in 2015, FSCA held the professional recognition ceremony following the Friday luncheon at the Annual State Convention.
