CHAPTERS

With the goal to provide opportunities to network, advocate, share, and collaborate, FSCA supports and promotes local school counseling organizations. FSCA members who reside or work within a particular Florida district or region, may apply to become a chartered FSCA Chapter. Chapter Charters are granted to local or regional school counselor associations who meet the FSCA By-Laws and Policy criteria. FSCA will charter no more than one school counselor association per county or district.

WHY BE A FSCA CHAPTER?

  • FSCA supports chapters and promotes chapter membership and activities.
  • Chapters are represented by their delegates at the annual FSCA Delegate Assembly, providing opportunities to share, network, and collaborate.
  • FSCA promotes chapter leadership communication through its website and listserv for chapter leadership.
  • FSCA provides materials and resources for distribution to chapter members.
  • FSCA leaders may provide professional learning, keynote addresses, and other presentations at local conferences, workshops, or meetings, at a reduced cost.
  • Chapters may host Professional Learning programs with FSCA support.
  • Chapters receive one free FSCA membership per year for a drawing at a chapter event.
